Alpinestars Copper

The Alpinestars Copper are short urban gloves in synthetic suede and mesh, CE Level 1 certified with a hard knuckle hidden under stretch fabric. They're light, airy and thin enough that you still feel the controls properly, and the index finger works on a touchscreen. They're not sport or touring gloves – short cuff, Level 1 – but for commuting and city riding they're exactly right.
